Install Teradata Plug-in for Eclipse
Make sure Your Java runtime environment version is 1.8 or above.
Before updating Teradata Plugin, Install latest version of EMF Client Platform (ECP) if its not installed. You can install it from the link

To update ECP you can do it directly from Eclipse software.
To check ECP is istall or Update it click Help-> About Eclipse
Click "Installation Details"
Write ECP if it show then you can see the version. If ECP is not the latest version you can update it just select ECP and click Update
To Install Teradata plugin Clicl Help-> Install New Software...
Click Add
Add the following URL in the Location field and click ok.

You can also download the plugin from the following link and show the downloaded location in "Location" field, and click ok.

Click Next
Click Next
Select "I accept the terms of the license agreement" and click Finish
Now you should see the software is installing from the bottom in the right side.
If you see such Security Warking click "Install anyway"
Click "Restart Now"
Now Teradata Plugin is installed in Eclipse, you can see the "Database Development" button in the upper right side. You can also select it from Window->Other perspective->Open Perspective->Other
Select Teradata
Now you should be able to connect to your Teradata database. Right click "Database Connections" and select New
Provide Database Server name, username and Password. Click Finish.
Now you are connected to the database
