How To Restart Viewpoint Services in Teradata

If non clustered: 

#/opt/teradata/viewpoint/dcs/bin/vp-control.sh stop

#/etc/init.d/postgresql stop

#/etc/init.d/postgresql start

#/opt/teradata/viewpoint/dcs/bin/vp-control.sh start

 

 Check Status:

# /opt/teradata/viewpoint/dcs/bin/vp-control.sh status

Active: #/etc/init.d/postgresql stop

Active: #/etc/init.d/postgresql start

Active: #/opt/teradata/viewpoint/dcs/bin/vp-control.sh start

Standby: #/etc/init.d/postgresql start
